StubHub to refund Marylanders under multistate settlement

Customers who bought tickets for shows canceled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic will get refunds from StubHub as part of a multistate settlement, Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh announced Tuesday. In March 2020, as the pandemic forced a mass cancellation of events, the company stopped honoring its refund policy, according to the attorney general's office. Instead, the company told customers they would get credits to use at future events. Faced with the legal action, StubHub reversed its policy in May.
