Student-run Joshua's Restaurant to have soft opening Nov. 3-4
Joshua's Restaurant, the Culinary Arts program's student-run eatery will have its soft opening this year on Thursday, Nov. 3, and Friday, Nov. 4. The restaurant is located in Stow-Munroe Falls High School, 3227 E. Graham Road in Stow. Enter from Newcomer Road.
The Culinary Arts program is part of the Six District Compact's College Tech Prep Initiative.
There will be two seatings each day: one at 10:45 a.m. and the other at noon. It will be reservations only for this soft opening. The deadline for reservations is Thursday, Oct. 27. To make reservations, call 330-689-5213.
The program's mission is to:
Teach students fundamental food preparation skills needed for a career in the hospitality industry;
Incorporate classroom laboratory & work experiences while operating Joshua's Restaurant;
Provide exciting, fast-paced, hands-on career technical preparation; and
Provide ability to obtain ServSafe Manager Certification.
The soft opening menu will include:
Turkey Wrap – w/ Cheddar Cheese, Bacon & Avocado Mayo
Quesadilla – w/ Roasted Red Pepper Sour Cream & Pico de Gallo Sauce; choice of Chicken or Cheese
Teriyaki Salmon – w/ Stir Fried Noodles, Green Onions & Snow Peas
Pesto Chicken Sandwich – w/ Garlic Aioli, Bacon, Lettuce & Tomatoes
Salad – Mixed Greens, w/ Choice of: Tomato, Onions, Cucumber, Bacon, Carrots, Croutons and Shredded Cheddar Cheese; Grilled Chicken may be added for an additional charge
Dressing Choices – Red Wine Vinaigrette, Garlic Ranch, and Fat Free Italian
