Student tests positive for COVID-19, El Dorado County school district says
An elementary school student in the Rescue Union School District has tested positive for COVID-19, officials said Monday. The district had started in-person classes last week, with students split in morning and afternoon sessions. In-person learning has been able to happen as El Dorado County remains off the state's coronavirus watchlist. The students and teacher are expected to return to school Sept. 2.
