POOJA LODHIA: No question, this pandemic has changed all of us. And, for some of us, it's leading to big changes in our career goals and aspirations. For many students, that means looking at a variety of options. Welcome to the James Reese Career and Technical Center.

Students from all 11 Fort Bend ISD high schools come here for vocational training. There are classes in auto mechanics, cosmetology, and so many more subjects. The students still have to finish their core credits, but the idea here is for these students to get an idea of what it feels like to go to work.

And, in some cases, these students are even graduating with certifications that they are going to need when they start applying for jobs. We will have this story for you coming up later on today. And, in the meantime, you can always go to our website-- it is abc13.com/plus-- for more stories from Sugar Land.
