Students can apply for 90 scholarship awards directly through the foundation's application portal, cfalleghenies.org/scholarships. By creating an account or logging into the portal, students can take an eligibility quiz to match their respective interests and abilities to the available scholarships.

In addition, there is information on the portal for more than 250 school-selected scholarships that students can apply for through their high school office. Students interested in these scholarships should contact their school guidance counselor on the availability of these scholarships.

Scholarships are also available for adult learners.

"Through our donors' generosity, the Community Foundation is honored to help students of all types find scholarship opportunities to help them pursue education and build their careers," said Mike Kane, president of the foundation.

"We are happy to be able to help students find scholarships that are the right fit for their background and their goals. It's important to us and our donors that no scholarship dollars are left on the table, so our staff has worked hard to connect students with the financial assistance they need."
