Students get their teeth cleaned right at school
One woman is bringing her teeth cleaning services straight to schools. Dental Hygienist Jill Dorsey-Greene has been making school visits for more than 30 years. Her most recent stop was at Hilltop Elementary School in Glen Burnie to help students in need of dental sealants. "As a community school, it's really important for us to provide a one-stop shop for families," said Eileen Gagnon, principal of Hilltop Elementary. "We need to start thinking about how we can meet their physical needs here, so families don't have to miss work for appointments and students don't have to miss school."
