The highly anticipated collaboration between Studio Ghibli and Lucasfilm dropped on Saturday in the form of a short featuring Star Wars’ Grogu, aka Baby Yoda from “The Mandalorian.”

The short, titled “Zen – Grogu and the Dust Bunnies,” was released on Disney Plus. In the short, which the official Star Wars Twitter account describes as “a hand-drawn animated Original short by Studio Ghibli,” Grogu can be seen interacting with the susuwatari, or “soot sprites,” from Ghibli films “Spirited Away” and “My Neighbor Totoro.”

The short was released less than a week after Studio Ghibli teased the upcoming collaboration. On Thursday, the Japanese animation company tweeted a mysterious video teaser that solely features the Studio Ghibli and Lucasfilm logos without any additional text or background music.

On Friday, the company tweeted a photo of a figurine of Grogu in front of an out-of-focus individual who appears to be Miyazaki.

Before “Zen – Grogu and the Dust Bunnies” was released, countless social media users began speculating, with some hoping for a Star Wars anime feature film and others expecting a Grogu Christmas special.
