Greater Cincinnati: Are you in the market for a multimillion-dollar mansion? If so, you can make a bid on it next month.

A French chateau-style estate once listed at nearly $9 million earlier this year will now go into the hands of the highest bidder, with a no-reserve auction taking place Saturday, Oct. 14.

The 15,000 square-foot Edgewood, Kentucky, property is the former home of prominent litigation attorney Joseph P. Thomas, according to Robb Report. Built in 2003, the six-bedroom, eight-bathroom estate rests on over 7 acres of land at 3313 Turkeyfoot Road, near Summit Hills Country Club.

The grandiose home features a four-car garage, infinity-style pool, two-story library, movie theater, five fireplaces and a master bedroom, complete with a fireside sitting area and sunroom.

The home was put on the market for a cool $8.9 million in June 2022, making it what appeared to be the most expensive home listed for sale in Greater Cincinnati at the time. After being removed from the market, relisted and removed again, the mansion will now be sold through DeCaro Auctions International once and for all.

The auction, to be held on the property at 11 a.m. Oct. 14, will sell the house to the highest bidder, regardless of what the bid is.

Private previews made by appointment started Sept. 23 and will continue every Saturday and Sunday from 1-4 p.m. until the auction.
