'Stunning Mothership': Giant Shelf Cloud Looms Over Clovis, New Mexico
As warnings of a severe thunderstorm approaching Clovis, New Mexico, were issued on June 23, an enormous, and spectacular, shelf cloud formed over the city.
Local man Christian J Hernandez captured this footage of the cloud, telling Storyful, “the sunset was beautiful as a stunning mothership cloud moved closer into town that evening.”
