STURGIS — Members of Sturgis Wind Symphony have been busy at work preparing for their upcoming holiday performance.

They’ve been rehearsing since their last appearance Nov. 11.

“Dashing Through the Holidays” takes place at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, at Sturges-Young Center for the Arts. Admission is free.

Sturgis Wind Symphony conductor Scott Davidson said the concert marks the 25th anniversary of the group.

“I don’t know if the date coincides or not, I didn’t look at that specifically,” he said. “But our first concert was a Christmas concert.”

Sturgis Wind Symphony is planning some special events for its March and May concerts, to celebrate the anniversary.

“Stay tuned,” Davidson said.
