Arriving in style! Prince Charles shows off his vintage car during appearance in Wales

Prince Charles showed up to his latest appearance in style.

The British royal rolled up to the Aston Martin Lagonda factory in Barry, Wales on Friday in his blue, vintage Aston Martin DB6.

According to People and ET Canada, the car was a gift from his mother Queen Elizabeth II for his 21 birthday and was converted in 2008 to run on bioethanol made from wine and cheese.

During the visit to the factory, Charles met with Marek Reichman, executive vice president and chief creative officer of Aston Martin. He also spoke with staff members during his tour of the factory and placed a logo on the new Aston Martin DBX.

This isn't the first time royals fans have seen Charles' convertible.

In April 2011, son Prince William and his wife Duchess Kate drove the sports car, with the top down, out of Buckingham palace in London and to Clarence House after their wedding in nearby Westminster Abbey.

At the time, the car was covered with streamers and balloons in order to celebrate the special occasion. The back license plate of the car was also newly-wed-ready, reading "JUST WED."

While in Wales, Charles also took the time to stop by the town of Pontypridd to meet residents and businesses affected by recent floods as well as those involved in the rescue efforts.

Charles recently made headlines for another visit to a factory, a shirt workshop run by Emma Willis in Gloucester, England.

While he was gifted a shirt during the visit earlier this week, he joked about the struggle to keep in shape, People and UK's Hello! Magazine reported.

"Very kind of you – you’ve got my measurements. I struggle to keep them the same, a never-ending battle,” he quipped, according to the outlets.

During the visit, he met with injured service members sponsored by the company's Style for Soldiers charity. The charity provides complimentary clothing and bespoke walking sticks for injured service men and women, according to an Instagram post from Clarence House on the prince's appearance.
