The band Styx will play Aurora’s RiverEdge Park (360 N. Broadway St.) in July, according to an announcement Monday.

Styx, formed in Chicago in the early 1970s, is known for its rock anthems like “Come Sail Away” and “The Grand Illusion,” though lead singer Dennis DeYoung parted ways with the group in 1999. The announcement adds to a long list of live music dates for 2023 in the Chicago area.

The concert will be 8 p.m. July 11. Tickets (from $50) go on sale 10 a.m. April 11 at 630-896-6666 and riveredgeaurora.com
