Submerged Vehicles Line Streets in Eastern Belgium Amid Heavy Rains

Rushing floodwater tipped over a car and inundated other vehicles at a square in Verviers, Belgium, on July 15, amid days of deadly flooding in the province of Liege.

At least 11 people were killed in Belgium in the heavy rains, according to reports.

This footage captured by Kelly Limet shows the water rushing through streets lined with submerged vehicles.

The Royal Meteorological Institute of Belgium (IRM) issued a rain warning for eastern Belgium through Thursday, saying that parts of the country could receive up to 150 mm (6 inches) of rain.
