'Only Fools And Horses' star Sue Holderness cast in 'EastEnders'

Only Fools And Horses star Sue Holderness is joining the cast of EastEnders.
The actor, 71, is headed to Albert Square for a short stint later this spring and said she is “delighted” about it.
Holderness will play Estelle, who arrives in Walford while overseeing a photoshoot with Janet Mitchell and then turns her attention to Janet’s dad Billy.

However, it’s soon clear that not everyone is as taken with Estelle as Billy is.

Holderness said in a press release: “I was absolutely delighted to have been given the chance to visit Walford.
“It felt very surreal to be popping into the actual fish and chip shop, Ruby’s club, The Queen Vic, and wandering around the iconic Albert Square.
"I was ridiculously excited about the whole thing!”
Holderness is best known for playing Marlene Boyce in Only Fools And Horses and its spin-off The Green Green Grass.
Her other television credits include Still Open All Hours and The Sandbaggers and she has also had many stage roles.
EastEnders is Holderness's first soap after more than 50 years in the business and she said that she “loved the whole experience”.

Fans have said they are looking forward to seeing the actor in Walford.
"Sue Holderness is a television legend, she was brilliant as Marlene in Only Fools & Horses, I bet her and Perry Fenwick will have awesome chemistry on screen,” one person tweeted.
"Wow that’s an amazing casting. Can’t wait to see her on screen," said another.
