Suffolk Public Schools to hold teacher job fair

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Suffolk Public Schools is holding both a virtual and person teacher job fair on Saturday, March 9.

The school division invites the following candidates to attend:

  • Candidates who are eligible for VA Licensure

  • Applicants who are interested in Provisional entry teaching opportunities

  • Current SPS employees who are interested in transferring

  • Recent Graduates who are completing student teaching

What to bring:

  • Proof of Certification

  • Instate: Valid VA Teaching Certificate

  • Out of State: Valid teaching certificate and Praxis Scores

  • New Graduates: Letter of eligibility from college or transcripts and Praxis scores

Applicants will have the opportunity to meet school staff and potentially interview with school administrators.

The event will take place at King’s Fork Middle School from 9 a.m. and noon.
