If Dylan Sprouse was looking for a sweet fixer-upper, the “Suite Life of Zack & Cody” star surely found it with this, ahem, adventurously modified 1920s Spanish-style home in Los Angeles. For “just” $1.8 million — these days, that’s close to a bargain-bin price in this neighborhood — he now holds the keys to a charming home on nearly a quarter-acre of land. Set in the leafy Hollywood Dell section of the Hollywood Hills, the property boasts easy access to many of the city’s hottest hotspots.

The house has lots going for it: fully gated, four bedrooms, nearly 1,700 square feet of space, a freshwater stream running through the yard, many mature trees and off-street parking for up to eight cars — a very rare amenity in the tightly-crammed Hollywood Hills. It also sports some heavily customized interiors, which won’t be to all tastes but can certainly be renovated, should Sprouse choose to do so.

Let’s start with the living room, which has walls painted in an unusual shade of pale teal and a fireplace slathered in what appears to be a white subway tile. There are original features, too, like arched doorways and weathered hardwood floors. And fans of deep colors won’t have anything to complain about in the adjacent dining room, which is swaddled in cerulean blue paint and boasts original casement windows. The dining room is open to the kitchen, which is also painted cerulean blue and features countertops and backsplashes cloaked in a rather bizarre white-and-aqua patterned subway tile.

The primary suite encompasses the home’s entire second floor, with tan wall-to-wall carpeting, tan walls and cobalt blue drapes in the bedroom. There’s also a walk-in closet with custom built-ins and an attached kitchenette, plus a hexagonal bathroom with mosaic-pattern tile and a step-up, built-in soaking tub fit for ’80s royalty. Downstairs, the two-car garage is currently outfitted as a makeshift gym/storage closet combo. One of the three guest bedrooms is currently fixed up as an office, while another functions as a spare room with little more than a table and two chairs.

Although the folks who sold the property to Sprouse don’t appear to be famous, the listing describes the property as a “mini celebrity compound.” The lush grounds certainly hammer home that celebrity vibe; tall trees and dense foliage give the place total privacy. The grassy lawn is perfect for lounging about, and there’s plenty of room for a swimming pool.

Born in Italy but raised in L.A., Sprouse and his twin brother Cole rose from child actor obscurity to become the Disney Channel’s highest-paid actors in the mid-2000s, reportedly each taking home $20,000 per episode during “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody”‘s three-year run. Dylan, 29, has acted only sporadically in recent years and remains best-known for the “Suite Life,” while Cole has gone on to a starring role in the hit CW show “Riverdale.”
