Summer ends on Sept. 23, but there's still a ton of fun to be had before it's time to break out the hoodies and pumpkin spice beverages of autumn.

Concerts on the horizon range from Bruce Springsteen to the Breeders, plus the rest of the season is teeming with festivals devoted to the arts, the LGBTQ+ community, a melting pot of cultures, and even the sweet elixir of life that is coffee!

Sept. 1-4: Columbus Greek Festival

Details: Enjoy Greek dancing, food and more at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 555 N. High St.

Cost: $5 for ages 12 and older; $4 for seniors. Children under 12 are admitted for free.

Sept. 8: The Breeders

Details: The critically praised rockers, featuring Daytonians Kelley Deal, Kim Deal and Jim Macpherson, along with British bassist Josephine Wiggs, will play Kemba Live, 405 Neil Ave., at 7 p.m.

Cost: General admission tickets are $35 in advance, $40 day of show. Platinum seating is $85.

Sept. 8-9: 934 Fest

Details: The annual festival at 934 Gallery, 934 Cleveland Ave., will feature works by artists Lance Johnson, Thom Glick, and Jen Wrubleski, an outdoor gallery reveal, live music on two stages, kids' activities, food trucks, and more.

Sept. 8-10: Columbus Oktoberfest

Details: Get your fill of food, beer, games and entertainment at the annual celebration, which takes place at the Ohio Expo Center, 717 E. 17th Ave.

Details: Singers Colbie Caillat and Gavin DeGraw will headline this 8 p.m. benefit for the Charleen & Charles Hinson Amphitheater, 170 E. Dublin-Granville Road, New Albany.

Sept. 15-16: Serbian Festival

Details: The grounds of St. Stevan of Dechani Serbian Orthodox Church, 1840 N. Cassady Ave., will be transformed into a Serbian village from 5-10 p.m. Sept. 15 and noon to 10 p.m. Sept. 16.

Cost: $5 for adults; ages 17 and younger admitted free. Parking is free.

Details: Music, dance, arts and crafts, food, and a pop-up shopping experience will be offered at the Ohio History Center, 800 E. 17th Ave., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in celebration of National Hispanic American Heritage Month (Sept. 15-Oct. 15).

Cost: Reserving free tickets in advance is recommended.

High St.), Gateway Film Center (1550 N. High St.), Columbus Metropolitan Library – Main Library (96 S. Grant Ave.), Canzani Center at Columbus College of Art & Design (60 Cleveland Ave.) and the Columbus Museum of Art (480 E. Broad St.).
