Summer Walker Hints at Breakup, Compares Herself to Jayda Cheaves

Summer Walker has taken to Instagram to seemingly announce the end of her relationship with “BMF” star, Lil Meech. In the singer’s post, she mentioned entrepreneur Jayda Cheaves, which has started an uproar online.

After both the actor and the singer confirmed their relationship back in May, it seems as though the two have parted ways. In a post on her Instagram story, Walker shared an update with fans.

“Tried my best to be jayda wayda but I couldn’t. It was cute though, I wish him the best,” she said in the post. She followed with another post to give more context. “Can’t do that cheatin stuff,” it read.

Cheaves has had an on-again, off-again relationship with rapper Lil’Baby that has included cheating rumors. The two share a son named Loyal. Cheaves took noticeable offense to the mention and apparent slight. The Shade Room posted Walker’s story and Cheaves commented under it with her thoughts.

“I learned my lesson after ONE kid,” she responded. “Mfers round here starting they own trends and tryna INSERT ME in for laughs on the shade room. NO.”

Cheaves even got some back up from her friend, rapper, Dess Dior. She stood up for her friend by saying that Walker could’ve made her point without mentioning Cheaves. The artist noted that “we all” have had issues with men.

With all of the public feuding, many social media users had their own thoughts. A majority agreed that Walker’s comment about Cheaves was unnecessary.

“I hate when women bring up other women like why just why,” one social media user commented.

Another user sent a message out to men using Lil’ Baby as an example.

“Men let this be a lesson, stop telling these women you love them and then publicly embarrassing them and subjecting them to be the butt of somebody’s joke,” the comment read.
