Summit County Juvenile Court is seeking volunteers to serve on its Citizens Review Board.

The review board consists of community volunteers who help determine if the best interest of children in dependency, neglect and abuse cases are being met. Preference will be given to applicants with a background in social work, criminal justice, education or medicine or with significant community involvement.

A background check is required.

Applicants may send a letter of interest and resume to Summit County Juvenile Court, 650 Dan. St., Akron, Ohio, 44310, to the attention of Magistrate Rita Rochford. The deadline is April 14.
