Summit, expo in Oxnard showcases clean air options for transit
The Gold Coast Transit District on Wednesday hosted a clean air summit and expo at its operations and maintenance facility in Oxnard.
The event began with several experts addressing clean energy, climate action, hydrogen fuel cell technology, micro-mobility, and vehicle electrification.
They were followed by a public expo showcasing sustainable clean air transportation options including electric scooters and electric and hydrogen fuel cell buses.
“Events like this ... convene transportation and clean air leaders to share ideas, tackle challenges and collaborate to identify solutions that will move the needle forward to a cleaner future for all residents,” Gold Coast's general manager, Vanessa Rauschenberger, said in a news release.
