Sumy Oblast struck nearly 40 times on 25 February

Russian forces shelled three areas in Sumy Oblast over the course of 25 February. The oblast was struck a total of 36 times, with 28 mortar-launched bombs and 8 artillery shells.

Details: Russian forces deployed artillery (8 strikes) and mortars (10 strikes) to fire on the Shalyhyne hromada. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a city, town or village and its adjacent territories - ed.]

The Russians fired 14 mortar-launched bombs on three towns and villages in the Bilopillia hromada.

The Svesa hromada also sustained a mortar attack; it was hit by 4 mortar bombs.

There were no casualties, and the attacks did not cause any destruction, in all three hromadas.
