Sumy Oblast under attack: Russian troops struck 129 times

The Russian occupying forces attacked four hromadas (administrative units designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories) in Sumy Oblast on 1 February.  The record shows 129 strikes following the attacks.

Details: Russian troops fired mortars at Bilopillia hromada (48 strikes) and opened fire with AGS (40 shots).

The Russian mortar attack targeted Velyka Pysarivka hromada and was followed by one strike.

The occupying forces also fired mortars at Shalyhyne hromada with 13 strikes reported. Additionally, Russian troops attacked with small arms. In particular, five machine gun bursts have been documented.

Sumy Oblast Military Administration reports 22 mortar strikes in Esman hromada.

No casualties have been reported in either case, according to the preliminary estimates.
