Sun Bowl Association gifts 2 El Paso schools with $10,000

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Representatives from the College Football Playoff (CFP) Foundation, Bowl Season, and Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl visited two El Paso ISD schools on Monday, April 15, and honored teachers.

The schools were Charles Middle School and Magoffin Middle School. Each school was gifted over $10,000 in classroom funding, as well as gift bags and tickets to the 2024 Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl.

According to the Sun Bowl Association, the CFP Foundation’s core program, Extra Yard for Teachers, is a nationwide charity that supports teachers.
