Sunrise Centenarian: Edith Mirna Bonia
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — 17 News at Sunrise celebrated another Kern County Centenarian today– Edith Mirna Bonia turns 100 years young today.
Edith was born on Valentine’s Day in 1924 in Staten Island, New York as one of 10 siblings.
She moved to California in 1946 where she worked as a seamstress. She married Anthony Rossi that same year.

Edith and her husband became proud business owners serving the public with Italian food from Thousand Oaks to Ojai. Together they had 3 children.
She loves to dance and spend time with her children, grandchildren, great children and great-great grandchildren.
Edith still has a lot of love for Italian food… and will celebrate her 100-th birthday at Frugatti`s surrounded by family and friends.
