Suns update: Chris Paul (heel) listed out, Landry Shamet (concussion protocols) probable Saturday vs. Jazz

Phoenix Suns guard Landry Shamet is listed as probable for Saturday's game against Utah (12-9) while point guard Chris Paul (heel) remains out.

Shamet has been in concussion protocols and hasn't played since scoring 16 points in Phoenix's win Nov. 9 at Minnesota.

He's missed Phoenix's last seven games.

""I feel really, really good," Shamet said before Friday's game. "Progressing back. I'm excited to get back going here (Saturday), hopefully."

As for Paul, this will be the ninth consecutive game he's been sidelined with what the Suns (12-6) are describing as a sore right heel.

The veteran point guard immediately grabbed at the heel trying to get around a Paul Reed screen in Phoenix's Nov. 7 loss at Philadelphia.

Cam Johnson (torn right meniscus) remains out after having a procedure done on it Nov. 8. The Suns haven't had Jae Crowder all season as the two side "mutually agreed" he'd miss training camp.

Phoenix has been trying to trade Crowder.
