Devin Booker’s return is imminent.

The Phoenix Suns star is targeting their game against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday for his return after missing more than a month with a groin strain, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Booker had missed several games in December with a groin injury, and then left a game against the Denver Nuggets on Christmas just a few minutes in after injuring it again it. He hasn’t played since.

The team initially said he would miss at least four weeks with the injury, though Tuesday’s game against the Nets will be just shy of six weeks.

Booker has reportedly been ramping up his on-court work in recent days, and should join the team on their five-game road trip starting Friday against the Boston Celtics.

If all goes well, he will take the court on Tuesday at the Barclays Center. The Suns will be in Atlanta on Thursday and in Indianapolis on Friday, too, which would be other great opportunities for Booker's return.

Booker has averaged a career-high 27.1 points, 5.6 assists and 4.6 rebounds in 29 games this season, his eighth with the Suns. He's in the fourth year of a five-year, $158 million deal.

The Suns entered Wednesday’s game with the Hawks having won six of their last seven games. The team went 8-10 without Booker.
