Wet weather returns Monday, cold front approaching

Dry this evening and pleasant for a walk around the neighborhood, temperatures will be in the mid 70s around sunset. Clouds will increase overnight keeping temperatures in the lower to mid 60s.

Wet weather will return Monday ahead of an approaching cold front. Rain will develop mid-morning around 9 a.m. with some thunder possible in spots through lunchtime mainly before 1 p.m. Clouds will break for some sun mid/late afternoon with highs in the mid 70s. There will be another chance for a few showers and some thunder in spots around dinnertime, but coverage will be very limited. If a storm develops it could produce stronger wind gusts.

Dry conditions return on Tuesday, with highs in the upper 70s. Another system will bring showers and a few storms back later Wednesday afternoon and evening. Behind this system much cooler air will follow for Thursday, just in time for the start to fall!
