When is Super Bowl 2023? A look at when and where it is, who's performing at halftime

The Super Bowl is approaching quickly, as that quintessential American night filled with good football, good commercials and a star-studded halftime show will be here next month.

Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming Super Bowl 57.

When is Super Bowl 2023?

Super Bowl 57 will be played Feb. 12, 2023, between two yet-to-be-decided teams: the playoff winners from the American Football Conference, or the AFC, and the National Football Conference, or the NFC.

Last year, Super Bowl 56 was between the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams, with the Rams winning 23-20.

The game will be broadcast on Fox.

Where is Super Bowl 2023?

Super Bowl 57 will be played at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, the venue typically home to the Arizona Cardinals.

Who's singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl 2023?

Country superstar Chris Stapleton will sing the "Star-Spangled Banner" before the game kicks off. The Kentucky native and eight-time Grammy winner is one of modern country music's most prolific artists, with 15 Country Music Association Awards and 10 Academy of Country Music Awards.

Who's performing the Super Bowl 2023 halftime show?

It was a busy 2022 for pop superstar Rihanna, who along with having a baby with rapper A$AP Rocky and releasing a song for the soundtrack of the film "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," also confirmed the long-running rumors in September that she would perform during this year's Super Bowl halftime show.

It was a decision that was hardly surprising, given that the star is one of the names at Jay-Z's Roc Nation label and entertainment firm, which previously entered into a partnership with the NFL to select entertainers not only to work with the league but also during the Super Bowl's halftime.

Apple Music has taken over the title sponsorship of the halftime show from Pepsi, which had held the rights since 2013.

We're still not sure if Rihanna will debut new music (her last album came out in 2016) or perform her greatest hits. Either way, it's sure to be a show we won't forget.
