The Super Bowl 57 official gameday menu celebrates Arizona with frybread and lobster tacos

The Super Bowl is just around the corner and chefs at State Farm Stadium are getting ready to feed thousands. And not just any old hot dog and beer will do. Craft Culinary is the main food supplier for State Farm Stadium and head chef Sean Kavanaugh said he tried to incorporate Arizona-inspired foods into as many of the Super Bowl exclusive menu items as he could.

Kavanaugh and his team are prepared to sell enough food to keep 70,000 football fans satisfied during the big game. If there are leftovers, he said they will be donated to local charities.

"It's a chance to show off, so you want to be a little extra creative and make sure (the fans) leave with some memorable experiences. Not just 'hey, my team won,' but that the food was great as well," Kavanaugh said.

For fans attending the pre-game experience on the stadium front lawn, Craft Culinary is preparing a limited menu of loaded dirty fries, kielbasa and an absolutely mouthwatering spicy Korean fried chicken sandwich with kimchi slaw.

Once fans reach the gates to enter State Farm Stadium, a line of eight local food trucks will be selling food that can be taken into the stadium, including barbecue sandwiches from Pork on a Fork.

Menu items available stadium-wide

Some of these menu items include avocado toast, Kilt Lifter brats, a Big AZ hot dog topped with chili and cheese and a grilled cone salad made with Navajo frybread.

Other options include a chopped salad, birria burger and Tostitos pizza box nachos.

"I was joking the other day and I said we're gonna sell enough of those Big AZ dogs to stretch from Kansas City to Philadelphia," Kavanaugh said.

Lola's Tacos also has a concession stand inside State Farm Stadium, selling carne asada street tacos, taquitos and quesadillas. Owner Lola Olivares said she is excited to introduce authentic Mexican food to football fans flying in from Philadelphia and Kansas City on game day.

She also prepared two flavors of aqua frescas to represent the colors of the two teams competing in the Super Bowl—cucumber for the Eagles and strawberry for the Chiefs.

Olivares' journey in the last year has taken her from running a local food truck to feeding football fans from all over the country at Super Bowl 57. She said it has been a surreal experience.

"It's a huge honor," Olivares said. "I keep pinching myself, like, is this for real? Especially being a Mexican American woman. I'm so grateful for what the universe has given me."
