These super luxurious Miami hotels, restaurants and spas made the Forbes Five-Star list

What are the most luxurious hotels, restaurants and spas in and around Miami?

Forbes Travel Guide is here to tell you, via its annual 2020 Star Awards Winners list.

Six Miami-area hotels, four spas and one restaurant earned Forbes’ coveted annual Five-Star rating for 2020. Others earned the almost-but-not-quite as coveted Four-Star or Recommended ratings.

The rating system, in which inspectors analyze a property on 900 different criteria, started in 1958. Five-Star ratings mean “virtually flawless service and amazing facilities,” while Four-Star ratings are for “exceptional properties offering high levels of service and quality of facility to match.” Recommended means consistently good service and facilities.

“We have been committed to championing genuine Five-Star service for more than 60 years, and this year’s winners, as always, exemplify the very highest standards in hospitality,” said Filip Boyen, CEO of Forbes Travel Guide, in a press release. “It is difficult to earn a Forbes Travel Guide rating, and all our Star-Rated winners have shown how incredibly deserving they are of their accolades by demonstrating sheer dedication in their passion for service. We congratulate them all.”
