This Super Popular Bedding Brand Just Launched a Linen Towel Line
Ever since it launched in 2014, Parachute Home has been a go-to for quality bedding at not-crazy prices. In the six years since then, the brand has expanded into bath, PJs, mattresses, and even furniture. Today, it made its newest launch—and it's one we're really excited about. Suffice it to say, it's going to make your bathroom feel way more spa-like. The launch? Linen towels.
"Linen is consistently one of our best selling bedding fabrics – it’s always a favorite among customers for its texture and breathability," Parachute founder Ariel Kaye tells House Beautiful. "We get such good feedback on linen that we realized the durable and long-lasting fabric doesn’t have to be confined to the bedroom."
The new Spa Towels collection consists of washcloths (which retail for $11 each), hand towels ($25), bath towels ($39), bath sheets ($69), and towel sets ($150) and are available on Parachute's website starting today.
So what, exactly makes linen towels so great? Let Kaye explain: "Linen is naturally strong and one of the most durable fibers, making our Spa Towels incredibly long-lasting," she says. "Linen is also very lightweight and absorbent, so these towels are quick to dry – essential in the bathroom. Lastly, linen has antimicrobial properties which protects you from unwanted bacteria." Win, win, win.
As for the proper care of linen towels, Kaye recommends washing them on a cool temperature with gentle detergent and drying on low (incidentally, that's what you should be doing to all your towels, if you didn't know!). Another tip? "Use wool dryer balls instead of dryer sheets," Kaye says. "They help to keep your towels looking plush and are better for the environment!"
