How to support Black-owned restaurants and food businesses during Black Restaurant Week

There's still time to support local businesses for New York's Black Restaurant Week. The event, now in its third year, began June 17 and runs through July 3.

Each spot highlights a different special unique to them. What binds them: The flavors of African-American, African, and Caribbean cuisine

The only spots highlighted in Westchester for this promotion include PikNik and Mint in Tarrytown and Cupcake Cutie Boutique in Mount Vernon. There are, however a lot more in Westchester and Rockland — 28 by our count.
