House of Mann’s Mask4Mask Foundation option gives one mask to a hospital in need for every mask purchased. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention doesn’t consider homemade masks as personal protective equipment, since their capability to protect healthcare personal is unknown, but acknowledges they’re an option when supplies run out — ideally in combination with a face shield.
