Just like when they were initially announced, the internet of course had lots of opinions about these hype-y Oreos and the people who would be buying them. Others, well, they were just upset they couldn't cop a pack.

No word on when and if these will be returning but...I'll be off to eat my normal Oreos in peace!!

Update, February 24, 2020 12:16 p.m.: Well, these Supreme-branded Oreos finally hit the brand's store and, as anticipated, there was some truly crazy demand for them...but I don't think anyone anticipated the amount that some of the packs would be going for on eBay.

After going on sale at Supreme's New York store on February 20, according to Fox News, pack of these fashionable Oreos began popping up on eBay for hundreds—and sometimes thousands—of dollars.

As of this writing, there is a pack of the Oreos on eBay for $23,300. Yes, that is almost $8,000 a cookie. In case you think no one is biting: There are more than 100 bids on the listing. Forbes reported that one listing even got to $92,000, though it's no longer on the site.

If you take a quick peruse of eBay, you'll see many, many listings for the packs in the $100-$500 range, which begs the question: Did anyone go scoop these up for the love of Oreos alone?! I'd say no!

Original, February 18, 2020 12:47 p.m.: You might know Supreme as the most beloved streetwear fashion label of people who are very, very cool. You may also just know it because you can recognize its bright red logo anywhere. Either way, the brand caused a commotion this week when it announced its Spring/Summer 2020 collection, which has one very surprising entry: Oreo cookies.

Fans first began buzzing about the very stylish cookie when Twitter account @TheSupremeSaint (which is not directly affiliated with the brand) released an image of it.

People were understandably confused by the image and even questioned its existence. But sure enough, it is on Supreme's website so this is officially happening, people. The Double Stuf Oreo will stay true to Supreme's brand, and will feature its logo on a bright red cookie. No word on if it will taste like the classic cookie or if it's red velvet or...something else.

According to Supreme's website, the cookies will come in a pack of three. Several outlets have reported that it will cost $8 a cookie, but as Food & Wine pointed out, Instagrammer @Ovrnundr showed leaked images of what it claims are the packs, and said they'll actually be $8 a pack, which makes a lot more sense. Still quite a bit pricier than your typical cookie, but beauty is PAIN.

Delish reached out to Supreme and Oreo to get more info on pricing and where we can expect the cookie to be sold. While we haven't heard back yet, something tells me these will be a VERY hot item so I'd keep your eyes peeled if you want to get your hands on one. Ah, fashion.
