Surprisingly Great Picks Week 7 - Tim Patrick

The Broncos WR had hit double-digit points in each of the last 3 weeks. Can he do it again vs. KC?

LIZ LOZA: Oh, well you know I love an underdog, and Tim Patrick has been exactly that. Undrafted out of Utah, he's 6' 4", 208 pounds, and he is leading the Broncos in targets right now. For three straight weeks he has either cleared a hundred yards or found the end zone. Last week, week 6, he did both-- 101, plus a touchdown against New England-- that defense-- and in who's coverage? Oh, Stephon Gilmore.

It is time that we give him some respect. As I said, he's the leading receiver. Now, in terms of targets, now obviously Noah Fant returning this week muddles it a little bit. But when you've got a match-up against the Chiefs expecting that Drew Lock we'll be chasing points, I think you have to give the advantage to Tim Patrick, who also-- just a fun fact-- caught his first pro touchdown against the Chiefs back in 2018.
