Surveillance footage shows thieves checking car doors at Charlotte apartments
A resident in a south Charlotte apartment complex showed Channel 9 surveillance video of two people wearing hoodies checking car doors to see if they were unlocked.
Meanwhile, a car followed the thieves as what appeared to be part of a plan to steal items from inside the parked cars.
The footage was from an apartment complex near Nations Ford Road and Farmhurst Drive near Interstate 77.
In the video at the top of this webpage, Channel 9′s Almiya White spoke with the resident who sent the video about his concerns this holiday season.
