'Survivor' to host June open casting call in Put-in-Bay for potential contestants

Do you have what it takes to be a true survivor?

You have a chance to put your bravado to the test at an open casting call that will held on one of the Lake Erie Islands for the reality show "Survivor."

Cleveland's Channel 19 is hosting the casting call on June 15 in Put-in-Bay for a future run of the show at an undisclosed exotic location.

Those interested are only asked to bring a photo ID.

Potential contestants must be at least 16 years old and have a valid U.S. or Canadian passport.

The local affiliate will handle the taping that will be later reviewed by the show's producers.

The casting calls will be from noon to 4 p.m. June 15 at the The Boardwalk, 341 Bayview Ave., and also at The Keys, 227 Bayview Ave.

The reality TV show is seeking contestants for the taping of its 47 season.
