Suspect charged after man beaten with pipe near convention center

Police have arrested a man in connection with a deadly assault near the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Center City Philadelphia.

- A homeless man has been charged with murder in connection with a beating death outside of Philadelphia Convention Center.

Juan Guerra was arrested near 12th and Market yesterday morning. Investigators say he attacked 49-year-old Johnathan Muldrow with a pipe just before 2:30 AM Tuesday. Muldrow, who was also homeless, died a short time later. Officials think the killing happened after the men had some kind of argument.
