Suspect in London attack was recently released from prison - police

LONDON, Feb 2 (Reuters) - Police are confident that the suspect in the south London attack was Sudesh Amman, who had been recently released from prison where he was serving a sentence for "Islamist-related terrorism offences", a senior officer said on Sunday.

Lucy D'Orsi, deputy assistant commissioner in the Metropolitan Police, said she was confident the attack was an isolated incident that now had been contained.
