Suspect in Waldo State Bank robbery arrested in Sheboygan County

SHEBOYGAN - A suspect in a robbery at Waldo State Bank in Waldo was arrested in western Sheboygan County on Monday afternoon.

The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office said in a news release that the county's Emergency Communications Center received a holdup alarm for an armed robbery at the bank at 12:09 p.m. Monday.

Deputies identified a suspect vehicle and the suspect, a Wauke was later arrested without further incident in western Sheboygan County.

The sheriff's office said that after the arrest, there is no further risk to the community.

The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office, Wisconsin State Patrol and the state Department of Natural Resources assisted in the incident.
