Suspects stole $150K in Kay Jewelers smash-and-grab robberies

Police are looking for two men suspected in a pair of smash-and-grab jewelry store robberies after a second business was hit last week. Last Thursday, employees at the Castleton Kay’s Jewelers location were preparing to close up for the evening when an unidentified male suspect walked into the store and ordered everyone to the ground, saying it was a robbery. A second suspect then entered the store carrying a yellow hammer and smashed open a display case. Police estimate the pair was able to steal $45,000-worth of jewelry before fleeing the scene.
