All clear given after suspicious package reported at West Valley College

(KRON) — An all clear has been given after a suspicious package was reported on the campus of West Valley College in Saratoga, according to a social media post from the college. The package was reported earlier at the college’s Language Arts Building.

It was later deemed safe, officials said.

Fire department and police personnel are on the scene. People were earlier being advised to avoid the area until further notice. As of about 2 p.m., the Language Arts building was clear and open to all students and staff.
