Michael Addie once again earned a spot among the top boys golfers in the state.

The senior from Sussex Hamilton was named first-team all-state by the Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin for the second straight season. The golfer of the year at the Milwaukee High School Sports Awards last month, Addie also won the Greater Metro Conference player of the year honor and tied for 18th at the WIAA Division 1 state meet June 6-7.

Marquette senior Sebastian Kasun was the only other area player on the first team. Eau Claire Memorial sophomore Will Schlitz was named the state player of the year.
