SUV crashes through Turkey Hill storefront in St. Lawrence

Aug. 30—An SUV crashed through the storefront of Turkey Hill Minit Market in St. Lawrence on Tuesday after the driver missed the brake pedal and stepped onto the accelerator as the vehicle entered the parking lot, Central Berks Regional police said.

No one was injured in the crash about 12:15 p.m. at the store at 3057 St. Lawrence Ave., police said.

The SUV ended up inside the store after crashing through a front window.

The 85-year-old woman who was driving the car was evaluated at the scene by emergency medical personnel.
