SVG Motors set to open new Springfield location

The SVG Motors Family of Dealerships will be opening their eighth location in Springfield, hoping to create job opportunities in the area.

Thursday, the auto group held a press conference to talk about the expansion.

The conference was held at SVG Springfield Buick GMC on East Columbia Street in Springfield.

Owner and President of SVG Motors Group, Steve VanGorder, was joined by Dr. Derrick L. Foward, Founder, President and CEO of Move Foward Enterprise LLC; Brian Heck; Springfield City Manager, Warren Copeland, Mayor of Springfield; Mike McDorman, President & CEO, Greater Springfield Partnership; and Denise Williams, President, Springfield NAACP, according to a press release.
