SWANSEA — To one Swansea boy, the animatronics at Chuck E. Cheese are a staple of this iconic franchise.

In particular, Carreiro is trying to save the Dartmouth Chuck E. Cheese from this modernization effort. The Dartmouth Chuck E. Cheese the closest one for SouthCoast kids and families.

“I felt bad because I always enjoyed them and I know millions of other kids do too,” Carreiro told The Herald News last week. “The goal is to save the animatronics from being removed from the remaining locations and being replaced with a dance floor.”
