Swartz withdraws from superintendent's job search

Jun. 19—NORWALK — Norwalk Middle School Principal Gary Swartz has withdrawn from consideration for the Norwalk City Schools superintendent's job.

It is now down to three people and all three will be available to meet the public Monday night in the Fisher-Titus room at Norwalk High School. Each candidate will have 15 minutes to talk then will take questions for 45 minutes.

All three will be available during the three-hour meeting.

The stakeholders meeting start time will remain at 6 p.m Monday. Here is the schedule:

—6 p.m. — Dr. Michael Zalar.

—7 p.m. — Jude Meyers.

—8 p.m. — Brad Cooley.

Cooley, principal at Norwalk High School, is the only remaining local candidate.

Norwalk school board president Ralph Ritzenthaler said he has no comment at this time.
