Sweetgreen is opening two new locations in Westchester

Sweetgreen is coming to Westchester with not just one, but two locations.

The fast casual eatery known for its made-in-house seasonal salads and grain bowls, will open on the Eastchester/Scarsdale border in the Vernon Hills Shopping Center, and in Chappaqua at Chappaqua Crossing. The exact address is 700 White Plains Post Road for the former and 480 N. Bedford Road for the latter.

No exact dates have been announced.

The healthy salad chain, which operates in more than 10 states, including many in New York City, as well as a recently opened one in Greenwich, Connecticut, says on its website that its mission is "building healthier communities by connecting people to real food."

Along with the new Sweetgreen, the Vernon Hills Shopping Center is home to a few other dining options, including Serafina, a chain of Italian restaurants that opened in August in the old Fig & Olive space, and a Starbucks.

Other tenants include Fox's of Eastchester, a women's discount clothing store featuring styles from top U.S and European designers (which also recently moved in; it had previously been further down the street on White Plains Road), as well as Barnes & Noble, West Elm, American Eagle, Wine Stop & Spirits and Athletica.

Retailers at Chappaqua Crossing include Whole Foods.
