Sweetwater K9 helps bust 18 kilos of cocaine

SWEETWATER, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A Sweetwater K9 is credited with helping police bust 18 kilograms of cocaine.

The K9 responded to a traffic stop on I-20 in Sweetwater Thursday and gave an alert to the presence of narcotics.

After the positive alert, police searched the vehicle and found 18 kilograms of cocaine hidden away.

The driver, who has not been publicly identified, was booked into jail for several different charges.
