Jan. 24—It was a good night Tuesday for the Boone County swimming and diving teams.
County teams went a perfect 6-0 in duals on the night.
Lebanon vs. Speedway
Lebanon's boys beat Speedway 123-54 and the girls won 111-51.
For the girls, the Tigers went 1-2 in the 50, with Karlee Avila winning in 27.92 and Bea Johnson placing second in 28.88. The Tigers also went 1-2 in the 100, with Anna Hale winning in 59.59 and Bea Johnson placing second in 1:03.72.
The girls medley relay team of Jessie Stevens, Anna Hale, Cora Dial and Karlee Avila won in 2:03.47. The 200-free relay team of Paige Howard, Cora Dial, Jessie Stevens and Anna Hale won in 1:56.12 and the 400-free relay team of Hale, Howard, Dial and Avila won in 4:19.19.
Paige Howard won the 200-free in 2:18.55, Anna Howard won the IM in 2:50.36, Karlee Avila won the 500 in 6:35.08, Cora Dial won the backstroke in 1:07.77 and Kylee Rodriguez won the breaststroke in 1:21.86.
For the boys, Lebanon went 1-2-3 in the 100-free, with Camden Perrine winning in 53.63, Corbin Daisley placing second in 56.57 and Jack Howard placing third in 58.29.
The Tigers went 1-2 in the breaststroke, with Rylan Rule winning in 1:06.14 and Parker Lawson placing second in 1:14.20. The Tigers also did it in diving, with Davohn Ziesmer winning with a score of 203.10 and Kaden Burress placing second in 162.60.
The medley relay team of John Gascho, Rylan Rule, Grayson Goff and Camden Perrine won in 1:47.79. The 200-free relay team of Daisley, Howard, Tate DeLaRosa and Goff won in 1:41.21, and the 400-free relay team of Gascho, Perrine, Lawson and Rule won in 3:44.96.
Corbin Daisley won the IM in 2:19.71, Grayson Goff won the 50 in 22.37 and 500 in 5:24.36.
Western Boone vs. Clinton Central
Western Boone won the girls meet 107-79 over Clinton Central, and won the boys meet 100-80.
For the boys, the Stars went 1-2 in the butterfly, with Tanner Weakley winning in 1:00.88 and Isaac Threlkeld placing second in 1:03.69. Weakley led another 1-2 in the backstroke, winning in 1:04.68 with Jacob Norman second in 1:06.87.
the Stars got a win from the medley relay team of Jacob Norman, Jude Balke, Tanner Weakley and Isaac Threlkeld in a time of 2:00.87. Norman won the IM in 2:30.01, Threlkeld won the 50 in 24.89 and Carver Bragg won the breaststroke in 1:18.67.
The Stars won the 200-free relay in 1:46.41. The team was Wyatt Barnett, Jacob Norman, Isaac Threlkeld and Weakley.
For the girls, the Stars went 1-2 in the 200, with Samantha Jones winning in 2:17.99 and Kaitlyn Crowley placing second in 2:21.09. WeBo also went 1-2 in diving, with Leelah Fettig winning in 286.65 and Maisa Kent-Doolan placing second with a score of 164.85.
WeBo went 1-2 in the butterfly, with Arianna Stieber winning in 1:03.63 and Lindsey Steimel placing second in 1:23.80. Stieber also led a 1-2 in the backstroke, winning in 1:06.27 with Rashel Anderson placing second in 1:12.46.
Adelaide Jones won the IM in 2:29.75 and the breaststroke in 1:14.86. Kaitlyn Crowley won the 500 in 6:09.93.
The 200-free relay team of Stieber, Katherine Aliff, Rashel Anderson and Adelaide Jones won in 1:50.47 and the 400-free relay team of Anderson, Samantha Jones, Adelaide Jones and Stieber won in 4:04.81.
Zionsville vs. Avon
The Zionsville girls won 138-48 and the boys won 123-47.
For the girls, Maddy Akin won the 200-free in 2:02.25, Avery Christian won the IM in 2:20.71, Maggie Hadley won the 50 in 26.43, Emerson Stoner won diving with a score of 190.70, Molly Simmons won the butterfly in 1:00.98, Ava Metzger won the 100-free in 56.71, Kira Hunter won the 500 in 5:31.05, Katie Buroker won the backstroke in 1:02.32 and Annabelle Swiney won the breaststroke in 1:12.17.
The 200-free relay team of Akin, Annabel Hermacinski, Allie Buroker and Swiney won in 1:43.23 and the 400-free relay team of Christian, Hadley, Simmons and Metzger won in 3:46.28.
For the boys, Gabe Berry won the 200 in 1:49.52, Walker Mattice won the IM in 2:03.21, Will Modglin won the 50 in 20.60 and the butterfly in 49.68, Malcolm Slater won the 100-free in 49.68, Caleb Kuntz won the 500 in 5:05.97, Will Raches won the backstroke in 52.15 and Lew Sams won the breaststroke in 1:03.01.
The medley relay team of Walker Mattice, Lew Sams, Will Modglin and Nikita Hovyadinov won in 1:40.57. The 200-free relay team of Mattice, Slater, Berry and Chris Buroker won in 1:29.96 and the 400-free relay team of Caleb Kuntz, Toby Dollens, Slater and Raches won in 3:19.47.
